Tommy did a great Job. Went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. We needed a space cleared to park our trailer that was covered in brush. We also needed our driveway to be re graveled. He made sure both areas were compacted so we wouldn’t get ruts and washouts. He even helped take down some widow makers we couldn’t reach so we could cut them up. He listened to what we needed and provided added ideas, including adding a trail so we could access the space and keep an eye on it from our house. Very reasonably priced!

Expert Horse Arena Construction in Princeton, MN
Horse arena construction in Princeton and the surrounding counties takes more than clearing a flat spot and spreading footing material. Minnesota's freeze-thaw cycles put real stress on every layer beneath your horses' hooves. A base that shifts or heaves through winter will give you uneven, unsafe footing by spring. TG Landworks focuses on getting each layer right from the ground up: site reading, proper excavation, graded sub-base, and drainage that moves water away from the arena floor rather than letting it pool. Isanti and Sherburne County properties often carry heavier clay-influenced soils that hold moisture, so drainage design is built into the plan from the start, not added as an afterthought. The work is done by people who specialize in farm and ranch land, not a general crew that handles arenas between parking lots and driveways. If you own horses in Princeton or the surrounding area and want an arena built for how this ground actually behaves, call TG Landworks to talk through your site.

Horse Arena Construction FAQ
Common questions about horse arena construction in Princeton, MN.
Yes, uneven ground in Princeton is common and is addressed through site excavation and grading before any base material goes down. The goal is a level, stable sub-base that drains correctly regardless of the original terrain.
TG Landworks serves Princeton, Isanti, Isanti County, Sherburne County, and Hennepin County for horse arena construction. If your property falls within those areas, we can come out and assess your site.
Poor drainage is the leading cause of arena footing problems, and Minnesota's spring thaw and heavy rain events make it worse on properties across Isanti and Sherburne Counties. Water that sits under the footing layer softens the base and creates uneven, unsafe ground for horses.
Horse arena construction covers site reading, excavation to proper depth, sub-base compaction, drainage planning, and finished footing preparation specific to riding use. Pasture grading is a separate service and is not part of the arena construction scope.
A properly built base with correct compaction and drainage is designed to resist the freeze-thaw movement common in Princeton and across Isanti County. Cutting corners on base depth or drainage is what causes heaving, so those steps are not skipped.
Call TG Landworks directly to describe your site and what you need for your Hennepin County property. From there, the team can assess the land and talk through what the construction scope involves.
