Tommy did a great Job. Went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. We needed a space cleared to park our trailer that was covered in brush. We also needed our driveway to be re graveled. He made sure both areas were compacted so we wouldn’t get ruts and washouts. He even helped take down some widow makers we couldn’t reach so we could cut them up. He listened to what we needed and provided added ideas, including adding a trail so we could access the space and keep an eye on it from our house. Very reasonably priced!

Expert Pasture Grading in Princeton, MN
Pasture grading shapes the surface of your land so water moves away from grazing areas instead of pooling on them. At TG Landworks, we work with horse farm and ranch owners across Princeton, Isanti County, Sherburne County, and Hennepin County. Uneven pasture ground creates soft, wet spots that are hard on hooves and rough on footing. Low areas hold standing water through Minnesota's freeze-thaw cycles, which accelerates surface erosion and kills grass cover. We cut and fill problem areas, establish proper surface slope, and smooth out rough terrain so your horses have safe, consistent ground to move on. The work also sets up your land for better grass establishment, since seed takes hold more reliably on a graded, stable surface. Whether you are starting a new pasture from raw ground or renovating one that has been beaten down by heavy use, TG Landworks brings focused farm and ranch experience to every acre. Pasture Grading FAQ
Common questions about pasture grading in Princeton, MN.
Yes, existing grass does not mean the surface slope is correct. Low spots and uneven areas can still hold water, damage footing, and erode over time even on established pasture in Princeton.
Pasture grading involves cutting down high areas and filling low spots to create a surface that drains properly and gives horses safe, even footing. The work is done with grading equipment sized to your acreage in Isanti County and the surrounding area.
Yes, heavily used pasture is one of the most common situations we handle for horse farm owners across Isanti and Sherburne County. Grading restores a workable surface before reseeding.
If you see standing water after rain, soft muddy patches that do not dry out, or visible ruts and low spots, regrading is needed before reseeding will hold. Seed placed on an uneven, poorly draining surface in Princeton-area soils will not establish well.
Yes, we serve ranch and horse farm properties of varying sizes across Hennepin County and the surrounding region. We focus specifically on farm and ranch land, not general residential grading.
We work around existing fence lines, gates, and farm structures during grading. Property owners across Isanti County can discuss layout specifics with us before any work begins.
